When I bought this I did not see the extremely fine print that says "gose style ale brewed with guava and sea salt." It's attractive enough, if you like cloudy brews, with plenty of foam in the tumbler. It's not as alarming after a few sips, but why you would want to drink this stuff is beyond me.
But to review this as a Fruited Kettle Sour-- well, I don't know what else to say. It's no worse than others I've tasted, and possibly less acidic. Very salty, I would say. The faint fruit only makes you realize what you're missing. From the 16 oz can purchased at Barons Market. Dated 10-11-21.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Rastal Harmony tumbler.
Appearance: The white, one finger head goes away almost immediately and doesn't leave behind much lacing. It's a hazy, pure gold color.
Smell: It's a beautiful, fruit aroma of fresh guava and that's pretty much it.
Taste: It's mostly fruity with a tart, guava flavor right away along with a touch of lemon juice. There's a soft salinity as it goes down that balances things out.
Mouthfeel: It's moderately light but very smooth and silky with a touch of medium-low carbonation to bring some balance.
Overall: Tart, fruity and just plain delicious. Guava is the star of the show in this beer and to great effect. One of the rare instances where one-dimensionality is not a bad thing.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a thin head that fritters away; streaks and spots of lacing
Smell: More lemon than guava; tart and citrusy
Taste: Tart lemon forward with just a hint of guava sweetness underneath; citrusy and tart, after the swallow, with a touch of salt in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: Drinks easy but I wouldn't have picked out the guava but for the name

Color: goldish
Head: yes
Taste: guava
Smell: guava
Feel: thin
One dimensional in every aspect. Quenching, not much more. Still well done per the Mikkeller standard. If this beer were a car it would be a Ford Focus.
