look: two finger bubbly white head with reasonable retention, little lacing, beer is a slightly hazy golden colour, only a very small gentle stream of bubbles rising through the centre of the beer.
smell: smells really nice, nice biscuity malt there, a tonne of lemon which is really cool, orange mango and passion fruit too, kind of a cider quality to it, smells fresh, sweet but on the lighter side, a slight sourness to it too oddly, pretty intriguing.
taste: beer of two halves, the opening is great, that malt flavour comes through, along with some caramel, and just a load of lemon, some vanilla there too, and orange, really citrusy, touch of grass and hay, but the finish is really lacking, beer just seems to disappear, no bitterness, which is unfortunate because it really takes away from the overall quality of the beer, still tastes reasonably good though.
feel: really light bodied, medium carbonation, quite thin and watery in parts, especially on the finish, although very drinkable, obviously sessionable.
overall: to be fair to it it’s a pale ale that stands out a bit in a style that can be very repetitive, decent beer all in all.
