Look - really nice thick black with a tan
Smell - so much caramel with a slight coffee
Taste - some much caramel slight coffee slight sweetness
Feel - full body and creamy
Overall - fantastic

 

A - Pours a motor oil black with a thin tan head. Very light lacing.

S - Aroma is big cinnamon, coffee and heavy bourbon.

T - The taste is cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate, coffee and a nice hit of bourbon in the finish.

M - Full body with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.

O - A really tasty dessert stout. The flavors of stroopwafel are pretty on.

I almost didn't purchase these shake beer by I am so glad I did, they are just so fun while being absolutely delicious! This one uses stroop which I love with coffee in the morning, and this beer brought me to that place. Opaque body with a finger of khaki foam. Smell has medium roast coffee and bourbon foremost, caramel, stroop cookie and vanilla support. Taste starts with the coffee too, but melds the caramel, stroop, vanilla, and bourbon beautifully, supporting milk chocolate, brown sugar, and hints of maple. The lingering impression on the palate over time is waffle cone. Feel rich, thick, creamy, and warm from the barrel but not much barrel character, a dessert stout through and through. Very memorable. To those who know, "it's over 9,000!"
