Ristinge 14/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottleshop. Super simple 50 styles label in blue and white with a declaration in red about Bourbon barrels.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears after a few seconds leaving a cup of viscous Coca Cola behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary scent mingling with sweet dark alcohol. Heavy sweet molasses, brown sugar. Raisins. Hints of vanilla and coconut. Dark sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, viscous, oily, soft and a bit sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a light sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable boozy burn. Lingering.
Immensely intense and soaked in sweet, corn-based alcohol. An aggressive piece of pastry.

Bottle: Poured pitch-blakc color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some light vanilla notes and coconut notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some coconut and some very faint notes of almond. Body is full with good carbonation without alcohol notes noticeable. Enjoyable imperial stout.

Shimmering black with a brown cap. Smell has more milk chocolate up front than anything with a bourbon backing, almond, coconut, and anise come in powerfully after this first wave. Taste is starts us in the barrel, warm bourbon, molasses, and brown sugar before having anise, almond, coconut, caramel, and milk chocolate descending upon the palate. It is good but the sweetness all kind of amalgamates together. Feel is not as refined as the other BA shakes of recent release, heavier, boozier, and definitely more of a dark sipper.
