Copenhagen 10/7 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. From their Save the Beer campaign so a bit over the best before date. A page about to be Knighted with a raven hovering in the background on the black and golden can.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Stable, Settles a thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with gentle citrus frit. Ripe peach and mango. Hints of sweet Fanta. Grapefruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while with a searing and dry finish.
I have no idea why Mikkeller has started to make beer licensed n the Game of Thrones universe. But it is a more than decent NEIPA.

Hazy yellow brew with abundant foam in the Affligem chalice. I will admit that this is one of the best in the "New England" style I have had from any brewery. Not acidic! Lush and sudsy, melting in the mouth like marshmallows.
Just sweet enough, but tangy as well. Highly aromatic with melon. More berries than citrus. Brewed with Styrian Dragon hops, a variety originating in Slovenia. Flavors of passion fruit and orange with a dose of bell pepper. Some black pepper in the aftertaste along with a modest bitterness.
From the 16 oz can with "Born on 05/05/21" on the bottom. Purchased at Barons Market on West Point Loma. This is apparently the first in a line of Game of Thrones beers from Mikkeller, since the similar line from Ommegang Brewery has ended.

Served in tulip glass from can.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow with soft bubbles. White head which initially rose two fingers length off the body.
Smell: Lemon skin with hints of floral feel.
Taste: Pineapple juice with feels of cream. Heavy hops and deeper malts. Like a floral milk shake.
Mouth: Soft carbonation with a sticky body.
Overall: Tasty brew, personally I'm lusting it. Salud!
