Appearance - Has a bit of haze to it, orange in color, wtih an off-white, near finger width head. Fair retention before dialing back to
Smell - Citrusy aroma with a solid caramel malt undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Starts with a lemony brightness over a fair caramel malt backbone, then hints of pineapple and orange creep in. A trace of grapefruit skin emerges in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low-to-fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Got this from a friend, so can't look a gift horse in the mouth, but wish I'd gotten it a bit fresher as the hops seem to have fallen off a bit. Still, pretty good considering the age. The bright citrus notes really stand out, just maybe not as pronounced as they might have been 3-4 months ago.
