Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a super dark brown color with a one finger head of brown colored foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time with it leaving tons of spotty lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a deep roasted malt aroma, mixed with tons of dark chocolate and burnt toasty oat. At the same time there is a whole lot of sweetness as well. There is a vanilla and crème aroma mixed with notes of marshmallow crème and a bit of a graham smell. Other aromas of char and a touch of grain mix with the rest to give an aroma akin to a slightly overtoasted smore smell.
Taste – The taste is massive of a dark roasted malt flavor that has a good deal of char and even a bit of smoke mixed within. At the same time there are nice flavors of dark chocolate and oat, with both of these tastes growing slightly more intense as the taste moves forward. While the nose is quite sweet, the flavor is not as would be anticipated. There are flavors of brown sugar and molasses, as well as a light marshmallow and vanilla flavor at the start, but while certainly displaying their presence, they are not that overwhelming. As the taste advances the sweeter flavors get a bit more potent, and with a little bit of an alcohol heat and some woodiness coming at the very end, one is left with a rather dark and deep oatmeal flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is quite thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is low. For the style and the very roasty nature the feel is quite nice and makes this one a good slow sipper.
Overall – I was anticipating something much sweeter in nature, but was pleasantly surprised to find a super roasty and more balanced stout, that is nicely accentuated by more subtle flavors of a smore. A very well crafted stout.

Pours engine oil black with a nice chromium colored head of foam. Aroma is moderate, chocolate and marshmallowy with only a slight hint of vanilla. Taste is vanilla forward with chocolate -- that dark, intense chocolate without bitterness. This is a well crafted brew. The booziness is kept in check and the flavors well balanced. I approve.

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour, thin skin of brown head. Aroma of rich roasty grains, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste brings light smoky notes, some graham with plenty more sweet chocolate and vanilla, all with a warm booziness.

Pitch black body with two fingers of brown foam. Big chocolate, moderate marshmallow, roasted malt, graham cracker, and vanilla in the nose, spot on. Taste is centered on the flavor of a full ash tray, roasted malt and earth are there with sweet vanilla and boozy oxidation, a mess. Amazing the disparity between nose and taste! Feel is overly roasted to the point to harshness, smoky, malty, yet sugary too all in a thick body. Drain pour

Ink black body topped with a thick, dense, khaki hued head. Heavy scent of cocoa, chocolate and fudge. Strong whiskey-like flavor right off the bat; milk chocolate and a hint of vanilla; roasted grain with char. Heavy body; thick and sticky on the palate.

Kind of harsh with the ABV; the phenols taking over the sweetness. I really didn't get much graham cracker and who knows what the 'natural flavors' are in this beer. Strong yet a bit unbalanced.

Poured at 45 °F; looks like BORN ON 07/28/21

Not bad, not great. Plenty of adjunct flavors. Sweet chocolate, vanilla, and graham cracker are very present with a boozy background. Problem is it seems artificial and oily in it’s presentation. Seem to have encountered that problem with this brewery before.
