This one is aged in Wheated Weller bourbon barrels and Brandy barrels. Pours jet black with almost no head. Nose is black licorice, brandy, toffee, dark chocolate, raspberries, vanilla, bourbon. Very nice. The taste is freaking amazing. Huge complex flavors of black licorice, chocolate, dark fruits, brandy, port, figs, vanilla, roasted malts, charred wood, and a touch of coffee. Wow. This is comparable to Bourbon County, but I might like this more. Mouthfeel is super thick and creamy. Just a great barrel-aged stout.
