Copenhagen 25/12 2020. 75 cl corked bottle from Mikkeller & Friends bottle shop, Torvehallerne. Baghaven’s usual design with the small drawing of the brewing facility.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a light fruity sweet odor mingling with a more prominent tart sourness. Grape sweetness, honey melon. Citrus, tart gooseberries, green sour apples. Yeasty earthy odor. Gentle touch of vinegar.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and lingers for a while. Finish is tart and bone dry.
Fresh, sour and dry like white wine.
