Pours very dark brown, with a wonderful four finger head that leaves fantastic lacing. Aroma is dark chocolate roast. Taste is chocolate with the slightest chili heat (I mean slightest). The body is smooth with low to moderate carbonation, but little complexity.

L: black pour from a pint can into a sniffer - a huge amount of head was risen to the surface. About 4-5 fingers length. Some lacing is left behind as it resolves back into liquid form.
S: Notes of chocolate, dark malts, dark fruits, coffee.
T: Interesting, this stout is quite different from a normal. It has a malty, chocolatey presence to it up front followed by a bit of molasses. The chili seems to appear slightly in the middle towards the very end with a slight aftertaste burn.
F: Medium to full bodied - acidic (probably from the chili). A sipper, not to boozy. Silky. It makes me think if the chili has something to do with making the body smoother and easier to drink.
O: This is my 3rd chili stout, the others were phenomenal however the others were 7% and 13%. They had a bigger body on them and the chili peppers were more noticeable. But that being said the bodies on them were so silky and easy to drink which makes me think the chili plays into affect definitely on the body and slightly on the aftertaste which is nice. Nice job, solid B in my book.
