Tasted this beautfull beer at the 16 th christmasbeerfestival 2010 in Essen belgium

Pours dark amber brown with a tanned head. The aroma has lots of red wine, candy sugar, dark fruits, cinnamon, spices, the barrel aging is really good, couldn't imagine any barrel that would do better. The taste has some really interesting sourish red wine qualities that really compliments the classic dark fruits and dark candied sugar. There are some really nice spices like orange peel, cinnamon and even citrus. All the elements in this beer really play together nicely, which just makes an excellent beer.
