Copenhagen 4/12 2023. 33 can from Kvickly, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Light green Can with a drawing of a fellow standing in s Hop-shop.
Pours opaque unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of Stone fruits mingling with zesty citrus fruit. Peach and apricot. Citrus and lemon. Whiff of petroleum.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a fruity sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A pretty light visit at the Hop Shop.

Cloudy dirty gold. Good bar-poured head which provides some wide streaks of lace on the glass.
Interesting blend of floral and spicy hop aroma. Behind this is a solid pale malt base.
The taste starts with some tropical fruit sweetness (mango and papaya but no pineapple). The body is rich enhanced by the lower carbonation level. The hop on the tongue is more subdued but provides superb balance.
This is one of the more complicated and delicious NEIPAs I’ve had.
