Bottle shared amongst great company at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen
Served in a small tulip glass
Enjoyed on 10 May 2012
A: Dull, deep grapefruit. Quarter (bubbly white) fingernail head on medium pour.
S: Smells of fresh, soft raspberry. Loads of vinegar and acidity here though. Over-powering and bold sourness. Touch of sweetness and must too.
T: Holy sour! Faint raspberry sweetness followed by SOUR, SOUR, SOUR. Acidity is a bit too much and this was like drinking red wine vinegar with raspberry and citrus.
M: Light/medium bodied with soft carbonation.
O: Unbalanced beer - way too sour and not enough sweet/tartness. Age would favor this beer for now, but I don't think I'll return to it again.

lantern corps beer summit 2010 - day 2, oct 9/2010. zack contributed this one. thanks zack!
375ml corked and caged bottle.
pours dark pink, not quite red, and very hazy and chunky. no head and no lace.
aroma is great. huge sweet raspberry. herbal and earthy. bit of lemon and cider vinegar. light alcohol. white bread and cracker.
taste is great. as with the aroma, big raspberry with lemony malt vinegar. leather and horse blanket. less sweet than the aroma but still retaining a big flavourful fruity character. light alcohol. white bread and cracker.
mouthfeel is good. just over medium body with a dry finish. just over medium carbonation level with just a bit of sting.
drinkability is good. a bit acidic, but good balance otherwise. hides its alcohol well.
