Imperial Stout made w/ espresso coffee, vanilla bean, lactose & aged in bourbon & rye barrels. A returning favorite, under a new identity - Beer Geek ‘Latte’ Shake is inspired by the Mikkeller classic, ‘Beer Geek Flat White’. Brewed with a careful selection of specialty malt and a long maturation in bourbon barrels, ‘Latte’ is then treated with a moderate dose of No Problemo Espresso Blend from our friends at Dark Horse Coffee, lactose sugar, and vanilla to present definitive notions of a meticulously crafted latte. Dark roast coffee lends a dark chocolate and waffle aroma, before transforming into a succulent vanilla bean and spicy barrel character. Full-bodied with a pleasant sweetness really rounds out the drinking experience.

The pour is stout black with a brown head that leaves sparse lacing. The fact it has a head or lacing is pretty good for the ABV.
The taste is everything I could imagine if a stout tried to represent a latte, which I always take at least one extra shot of espresso in. There is the coffee, the vanilla, the lactose (lots of lactose) and a little chocolate to round out the flavor profile. It’s sweet, but not overly so. It’s actually a really well made imperial stout.
The feel is viscous, this almost demands to be savored. Which I did.
OA, glad to have tried this and if they make it again I will buy it again for my SAN group.

Probably the best coffee stout I've ever had. At a price tag of $25 it was a tough buy but damn worth it.
