Copenhagen 4/6 2016. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of two people in red shirts sitting beneath a tree apparently eating the leaves.
Pours hazy amber with a yellowish head. Stable. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma of tart fruits from the hops. Grapefruit and lemonade. A little more subdued sweetness from the malts.
Medium strong carbonation and a slightly thick palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is nicely balanced between nutty sweetness and a nice bitterness. Aftertaste is mostly bitter - but not overly so.
Very drinkable.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of toffee malt with some pine from the hops. Fairly basic but enjoyable. The flavor is very similar. I get some pine and grass notes from the hops with some toffee and bread from the malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice enough Amber ale but nothing too terribly exciting.
