The body is about as dark as night, and with a firm pour forms a thick, dense, milk chocolate head, with a minute or so retention, leaving a rim like espresso crema. It has a thick look.
Aroma is enticing, rich and mellow dark roast malt notes of chocolate, coffee, with creaminess, giving a sense of affogato.
Intense flavours of bitter dark roast coffee, balanced a touch by rich dark chocolate ice cream, a sense amplified by the super fine, almost nitro, carbonation; ends dry, with a dash of bittering hops, lingering bitter roast malt, and in the very end the chocolate remains.
Sophisticated in it's simplicity, and soft embrace of the palate with strong flavour. Delightful.

I had to add this entry again, in order to match what is on the can.
The pour is dark (obviously), but there is neither a lasting head, nor one with a sexy mocha colour. The nose is coffee and aluminum, with a hint of malt.
Bitter, but thin, and watery. I don't detect the oats, but the coffee is relatively well represented.
This one leaves wanting overall, like a weak sister of Peche Mortal.
