Copenhagen 75 cl clear glass bottle with a cork stopper from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Baghaven's usual design with simple drawing of the brewing facilities on the cream colored label. I am drinking the 2020 edition.
Pours murky, burgundy with a mid-sized bubbly pink head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving what looks like a cup of red wine behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light fruit odor mingling with stronger sharp and our fumes. Sweet raspberries, tart gooseberries, sour grapes and a whiff of vinegar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour. Lingers for a while, Finish is bone dry.
