Copenhagen 31/5 2023. 33 cl can from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Naivistic Keith Shore drawing of Bornholm on the can.
Pours almost luminous pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of Stone fruit mingling with a tart scent of buckthorn and a bit of citrus fruit. Peach and orange. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a tart sour bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and a tad thin. Lingers shortly. Finish is quite dry.
Refreshing and not overdoing the Buckthorn.
