This hoppy Double IPA is brewed with ginger and spruce and smells fresh and Christmassy at the same time. The beer is malty, with a light to medium sweetness that ends with a dry, bitter and slightly spicy note. This beer is good before, during and after the Christmas meal. Than true Christmas beer.

Copenhagen 26/1 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Fellow in black clothes standing amid Christmas trees on the can.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,4 cm thick layer of fluffy foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a bit of sweet stone fruit mingling with Christmas spice and herbs. Subtle scent of citrus. Sweet peach. Ginger and nutmeg. Lemongrass.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is is tad watery. Bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
A tad too herbal for my taste buds.
