Copenhagen 26/7 2021. 44 cl can from Spar, Støberigade, Kbh. SV. Keith Shore drawing of a lot of super cool people - some wearing black hats - huddling on the green can.
Pours opaque murky, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe tropical fruit mingling with a more subdued citric scent. Peach, mango and papaya. Citrus and orange. Light scent of fermented decay.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, smooth, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fairly light and drinkable for a DIPA but solid. And I can feel super cool even without a black hat.
