Copenhagen 23/11 2020. 50 cl from draft at Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade, Kbh. N.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with strong sour notes. Sweet pale malts. Green Apples, vinegar. Tart berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Champagne-like.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Bone dry finish.
Refreshing but the rice brew does not give much relief from the Lambic.
