Brewed in celebration of Irma's birthday, our hoppy wheat beer is the perfect birthday treat - maybe even better than a kagemand. Witbier is a classic belgian style known for being incredibly refreshing, with a hint of citrus from orange peel. Our updated take on the classic accentuates the citrus notes and has a subtle aroma of blueberry.

Copenhagen 26/10 2020. 33 cl can from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Mikkeller’s little guy with the hat hanging out with the poster girl from the supermarket chain Irma. This time with white background.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, lemonade-ish odor mingling with tart notes. Sweet blood orange and peach. Citrus and tart gooseberries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Dry and bitter citric Wit.
