Copenhagen 6/2 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Off-white and green label with Mikkeller and People Like Us' mascots hanging out in leopard spotted shirts.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Quite bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass.
Aroma is fairly intense with a slightly herbal, fruity scent with a strong touch of citrus fruit. Funky notes. Oranges soon overpowered by cirrus and lemon. Tea-like perfumed odor peeking in. Sour cheese. Rustic.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a moderately strong sweetness followed by a strong sharp citric sourness. Aftertaste is acerbic, tart and sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone dry.
Unforgivingly sour with a pleasant touch of funk.
