Copenhagen 27/12 2019. 33 cl can from Irma, Smedetoften. Kbh. NV. Keith Shore drawing of the little man with the black hat meeting the Irma Girl (the mascot of the Danish supermarket chain). With a beer, of course.
Pours unclear very darknbrown with a big off-white, Yellow-ish head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense. Sweet, malty and a bit boozy. Caramel, brown sugar and distinct odor of alcohol. Dark and sweet. Lighter grainy sourness.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong, sugary sweetness. Moderately strong sour-ish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet bordering on the sugary. Finish is sweet and boozy.
A holiday can be many things. A sweet, sugary and intensely boozy ride is one possibility.
