Copenhagen 3/5 2020. 50 cl can from Irma, smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Drawing of cartoon-ish dog-lady running with a golden ticket to Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2020 and a orange on the can. Tagline is Berliner Weisse with Fruits of the Sun.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a subdued citric sweetness soon overpowered by a strong odor of sour lime. Sweet orange, bitter sour citrus and lime. Sharp. Acerbic.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium strong with a moderate sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour but bit thin. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
As promised a beer with a lot of fruitiness. Summer-like, easy to drink and fresh. Probably forgotten pretty quickly - but a pleasure while it lasts.
