Copenhagen 25/3 2020. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Blank metal can with sticker. Black sticker with a Keith Shore drawing of a woman eating a peach and getting harrassed by Death.
Pours hazy orange with big, bubbly, white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of flimsy foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet fruitiness and a more devious bitterness just underneath. Not surprisingly a strong odor of peach. Sourish, bitter odor of sourdough rummaging in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste has a sharp sourish tang with a lighter sweeter undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
A strange mixture of fruity sweetness and a more bitter spicy, sour graininess. Interesting.
