Copenhagen 4/7 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Rapunzel style set up on the can involving a huge braid, a guy with a black hat and a beer bottle.
Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Fluffy and stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling sourish notes and hints of butter. Sweet pale malts, floral and mineral fumes and sour sharp grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the sweet and malty side but refreshing on a humid summer day.
