Perhaps the best offering from Sport's Brew Pub. Pours out to a cloudy off orange color with a purple hue hinting at the raspberry essesnce of the brew. Small head of foam. Aromas of light malt and fresh raspberries. How'd they do that? Very inviting. Taste was very nice for a fruit beer; mild malt and fresh raspberries blend in harmony over hints of hops and subtle dry grain notes. Toward the finish a natural sweetness comes about and invites the drinker to have more. Mouthfeel is slightly grainy, like I was expecting to find raspberry seeds in my mouth, but mostly crisp overall. Drinkability is above average. Good beer, year round. Recommended.
