Pours a nice looking murky iced tea brown with a small sized head that has minimal retention and stickiness.
The aroma is a good blend of caramel, fruit and a nice hop blast that's somewhat floral and somewhat dirty.
The flavour is more of the same. Hoppiness shines through all the way and blends well with the fruit flavours here and the caramel that presents itself from the malt. Bitterness is fairly high and while expected, was not as tame as I'd thought it'd be based on the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, biting and a bit oily all at the same time.
This is a nice brew. It's billed as an English Style ESB, although I'd maybe call it an American Style ESB (if there is such a thing) or even pushing into IPA territory. This one is very hoppy, especially for an ESB, but it balances everything fairly well and has a nice amount of flavour to it. Grab a pint if you can.
