Brewer says this is made with cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, and cayenne pepper. It's a beautiful really dark, near black color with a beige head. Lovely spicy chocolate nose and pleasingly sudsy mouthfeel.
Deep, dark, and delicious. Taste is pleasantly spicy with just a hint of heat. It's rather sweet but it goes nicely with the Mexican spices. It's a dessert in a glass but quite sippable, and the finish is dry. One of the better big Stouts I've had lately.
All this richness, but still spritzy and tangy on the tongue. On tap at Local Habit in San Diego.
