Had seen this around the previous week and decided to try it while at Hoffer’s. Had never heard of Cerveceria Transpeninsular, but knew that Pizza Port made pretty good damn IPAs. Might be one of their first New England Style beers.
Poured a hazy gold color with two fingers of white frothy head. A few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled orange creamscicle, boozy orange juice, floral, mixed berry, Mosaic and guava. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted orange creamscicle, orange blossom, unknown spice, guava, mango, boozy orange juice, floral, bitter orange peel and mixed berry. Not sure the hops, but was thinking Loral. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Floraly finish. (Feel - 4.00)
A very good New England Style beer. Would have again for sure. (Overall - 3.75)
