I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had peach and tangerine notes with a touch of honey. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with tart orange and melon presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Draft at Voodoo- Boise. Foggy golden pour, silky white head. Interesting aroma, bready, fruity, dry. Taste is a mouthful of flavors, not necessarily complimentary. Not sure what is happening here, but I'm not digging it

On-tap at the Boise location. Appears very hazy orange in the glass, with a minor ring of white head lacing. The nose is incredible, damn near too much fruit character actually, it literally explodes with peach and coconut characteristics. I had no idea this thing was a fruited IPA - its marked as a Pale Ale on the menu, I only chose it because it was the lowest abv of all the hoppy beers available. There is a massive amount of peach, stone fruit, apricot, coconut, even strawberry on the nose and palate of this thing. Initially very enjoyable, but it became pretty overwhelming by the end of the glass, leaning into that yeasty bitterness that I dislike from many new-school NEIPA's.

Hazy dark straw yellow with a foamy white head settling to a lumpy sponge.
PEZ is the entire flavor profile up front. Stonefruit and mango are accented by citrus qualities that come together in a slightly medicinal way, exacerbated by an aspiriny hop, all told making for a weird beer.
The finish is just dry, exhaling a little spicy dankness that's too late to redeem this unfortunate concept. The lighter body and its fizzy froth don't help matters.
Stop fruiting your IPAs people! What's worse is Voodoo actually does quite a few decent to delicious straight IPAs, whether WC or NE.
