Poured out as a deep brown color with a thing cream colored head. The smell of the beer is very fudgy, some vanilla and barrel in there. The aroma is great but the Belgian yeast notes are completely masked. The taste much like the nose has sweet fudge flavors with nice vanilla undertones. The feel is chewy and smooth. Overall it's a very good beer, but again the Belgian qualities are a bit lost which most people won't care because it's just a great tasting beer nonetheless.

This one pours a dark amber brown color, slightly murky, with a small head and not much lacing.
This is absolutely killer on the nose- with toffee, dark fruit, tobacco, oak spice, spicy bourbon, coconut, vanilla, and caramelized sugar.
This is yet another superlative entry into Voodoo's barrel room series. It's got a lot of sweet flavors, but the barrel characters reigns in the sweetness and slaps you with earthy vanilla, a bit of coconut, and a warm spiced oak character, with caramelly and warming bourbon. I get caramelized sugar, molasses, burnt raisin, and pumpernickel from the base quad.
This is medium bodied, creamy and rich, but not thick or syrupy, with lower level of carbonation. It's certainly a slow sipper.
This is truly excellent, and a wonderful testament to how talented the brewers at Voodoo are.
