This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like very spicy hot pepper, brandy and grape-like sweetness, vanilla, cinnamon, and dark chocolate.

This series represents some of the most absolutely spicy Mexican-style stouts out there. Voodoo is not screwing around with the pepper here. There's luckily not too much cinnamon, and lots of fudgy and chocolatey character on the back end. The brandy adds some nice sweetness to it, and there's a big spicy oak character that goes very well with the peppers. I wish I got a bit more maple syrup, but what I do get is pretty tasty nonetheless.

This is medium bodied, smooth, with no booziness, and a lingering heat tingle on the lips after each sip.

You really have to like hot peppers to like these beers. Luckily I do, and I like this one.
