I understand Pilsners are supposed to have hops in them, but I object when the hops cross over into pale ale levels.

Clear burnt gold with a short off-white bubbly foam blanket settling to a sparse film and unevenly thin collar.
A pleasant toastiness brings the malt slightly more forward than your typical pils, exhibiting a toasted Italian bread characteristic. This is accented by an herbal, slightly grassy and allium-esque hop element. An added hint of corn nut comes out on the exhale.
The medium body has a softly foamy carbonation, finishing cleanly dry and lightly numbing.
I never actually detected nelson hops specifically, but this is the only time you'll see me relieved by that, as this is actually a biting, cleanly bone dry and lightly toasty quality pils without distinct hop flavors, as it should be. I can't imagine what a nelson forward pilsner would be like.
