Poured into a pint glass it has a semi-clear but mostly hazy (due to low flocculation) slight orange golden yellow body with a fluffy white head of an inch. Smell of mandarin orange, citrus, gin, juniper berry, pine, biscuit-y malt, cough syrup (bit too much), grapes, some slight oak and earth. Taste is pine, lots of gin, juniper berry, lots of orange and citrus, biscuit malt in the back, some dry oak and earth, a bit of hay, just a slight bit of that cough syrup flavor, slight ginger, nice bit of spice on the end, and some banana. Mouth feel and body are moderate with a light but still slightly crisp carbonation. A very good take on a saison, the gin blends extremely well as well as the oak flavor.
