Black India Pale Ale aggressively hopped with Warrior, Simcoe & Citra hops creating flavors and aromas of citrus and pine. Special Briess Blackprinz malt delivers the dark color and leaves hints of dark chocolate with low bitterness and a smooth finish.

On-tap at Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe, New Brunswick, NJ
A: The beer is absolutely jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dark tan head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of burnt roasted malt and piney hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of burnt and roasted malts along with notes of citrusy and piney hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very roasty and dry, making it a good representation of the style.
Serving type: on-tap

On tap at the brewpub. A bit funky aroma. Black bodied with a small head however leaving a lace sheet. Big roast aroma. A big roast almost burnt, that leaves a dry finish. Over carbonated. So-so drinkability. Warrior, Colombus, and Centennial hops that are all muted.

Just had this, expecting a lot and it really lived up to it.
Poured a dark brown with an inch of off white head. Doesn't leave any lacing down the glass.
Smells like hops! Citrus and pine come to mind, with a hint of coffee and caramel. Very impressive.
Taste is lightly roast, caramel, and major pine taste.
Mouthfeel is full, yet not very carbonated. Could use a little more carbonation.
Drinkability is great. Could easily have a few pints of this.
A pretty good offering from Harvest Moon, highly recommended
