A classic English – style, Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Do not let the title fool you, ESB’s are known for their ‘drinkability’ not bitterness. The flavor is well balanced between nutty/caramel malts and traditional East Kent Golding English hops. We push this beer with nitrogen inducing a subtle creaminess.

First of the new beers I've had from the Library in Laramie. Definitely promising stuff from the new brewer. Sixteen ounce nitro draft for $3.50.
A: Clear amber color with a white head about half an inch or so, creamy dense head from the nitro, excellent rings of lacing the whole way down. Head retention was fair, but disappeared about half way through the pint.
S: Not a whole lot going on, caramel malts, slightly grainy, nice earthy/piney hops.
T: Nicely balanced ESB, sadly I think the nitro masks a lot of the flavors, what is there is a fair amount of caramel malt and a hearty dose of earthy hops. Nice balance, somewhat of an off "salty" flavor, is the best I can describe it. A little boozy on the end, but not sure on the ABV on this one.
M: Thick and creamy, finishes really clean, all around spot on for a nitro beer.
D: Big thumbs up on drinkability, this is a great session beer, I had two pints with dinner and it was excellent, I could have drank quite a few more of these. The new beers at the Library are quite nice compared to what was there.
