By using an exact amount of rye, a grain seldom found in micro-brewed beers, the RyePA acquires its signature taste. Made with four varieties of US Pacific Northwest hops and a generous amount of specialty malts, this beer offers a complex malt/hop flavor that is both aggressive and well balanced.

Draft into a 20-oz. glass at The Library Sports Grille & Brewery in Laramie, Wyo., on Nov. 23, 2012 for ???. Cloudy honey orange with 1 ½ fingers of khaki white head that stayed around for quite some time. Good thick retention all-around.
Smelled honey, sweet sugary floral hops, pale wheat malts and slight lemon grass.
Tasted honey, rye, skunky malts, lemon, floral hops with a big bitter finish.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt bitter finish.
A good beer to start out with, which turned into three more. Was tempted to up the ratings on a few of the categories now that I’m looking at it two days later, but I need to keep it the way it was.
