The beer pours a yellow color and smells of lemons. however it tastes like someone at cricket hill was trying to make a clone of mikes hard lemonade and failed miserably. Not that mikes is any good either but given a choice between the two i would go with mikes. If I had never had a good shandy before this one this beer would have completely turned me off to the style forever. The beers only saving grace is the smell is pretty good but that hardly makes up for the terrible taste.

Poured from a growler into my Cricket Hill pint glass. A white head disappears very fast. Straw hazy yellow with a hint of gold. Decent amount of bubbles, I thought there would be more since it sounded very carbonated.
Big time lemon, grass, even a little bit of a tea aroma, smells very sweet like lemonade.
This tastes like a very well balance of soda, lemonade and beer. This is your ultimate summer beer, incredibly refreshing. Much like the aroma, the taste fallows suit. Sweet and bitter from the lemons, some wheat, a tea flavor comes in with a little bit of bready malt.
Light body as you would expect from a shandy, not too overly carbonated which some shandy's can be. Very easy going down.
A very tasty shandy indeed. Not too sweet, which I thought was going to be the case. I was quite shocked to see they made a Shandy and had it on tap at the brewery. I'm not too much of a fan of Shandy's because they don't taste like beer all that much but this is a good example of how they should taste.
