Pours clear dark amber with one inch of off white head. Fades quickly leaving minor lace.
Smell is yeasty bready with lots of caramel malt. No hop aroma.
Taste is similar with lots of sweet malt and little hop presence. Almost like they doubled the malts and forgot to do the same with the hops.
Mouthfeel is full with minimal carbonation and a medium lightly drying finish.
Overall: I usually like what this brewery makes in many styles I have enjoyed over the years but this is one I would avoid. Not a bad beer by any means but for those who like ultra sweet beers.

Bomber from Malt and Vine poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, candied orange, herbal notes and light earthiness. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light orange zest and light herbal notes with a smooth dry bitter lingering carmel finish.

22oz bottle poured into a large snifter
Pours a pretty, clear copper color with a big fluff head that fades fast, leaving lots of thick lacing. Little visible active carbonation. Smell is a little cherry, a little soapy, kinda sweet.
Taste is surprisingly fruity, more of that cherry really comes out. Hoppy bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is dry but smooth. Overall, not bad.

Clear light red and thin foamy head with poor retention and rocky lacing. Tea and lager aroma. Sweet, light peat and smoky herbal tea flavors. Thin and biting leaving a smooth feel.
Good balanced sweetness and pretty easy drinking. Light on hops but enough for a good flavor and bite. Pleasant all the way through although slightly boring by the end of a 22oz.

An imperial red is not something I had ever had before, thought it was worth a go as I enjoy IIPAs.
Pours a lightish red, bordering on Amber with a half inch of head that quickly dissipates and leaves little lacing.
Smelled very sweet with a good nip of alcohol. Was hoping for a little more roasted malt, but it still was intriguing.
Taste was very malty however and earthy or nutty. Following that initial kick was a bit of sweetness with alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel was the same type of roller coaster. Bitter and sweet that finishes pretty hot. Not very cohesive, more of a mash of senses over the palette
Overall, it was not expensive at al so I was happy to give it a try while visiting the pacific north west and would grab any of ther other brews next time they are available.

pours lighter red than i expected for an imperial red, almost no head. the smell is very sweet, brown sugar, and cherry candy. it's taste follows the smell. extremely malty, (which dick's does well), but this is almost too much for me. not sure how many of these i'd want in a row...

An emphatically malty beer, but in the nutty, grainy sense that tastes wooden - perhaps even cask aged - but not overly sweet. This isn't a cask beer. But it's spicy with alcoholic heat and a sharp finish punctuated by bitterness. The body is clear oak with virtually no carbonation.
Fun, but the alcohol intrudes.
