Pours a clear, dark red coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of sweet cherry juice, with a slightly artificial aroma. Taste follows the nose exactly, being heavily dominated by sweet cherry juice with a very light tartness that does not serve to balance out the almost syrupy sweetness at all. Slightly artificial, but not too bad, tastes almost like pure cherry juice. Finishes quite sweet, with more cherry lingering in the aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation.
This has nothing to do with a proper "Kriek", it's more like a sweet, syrupy cherry shandy.
