served: on tap from the New England Brewfest.
A: Dark Gold/Dirty Amber. Very carbonated, cloudy and a good head.
S: Very strong weiss smell, bananas, cloves, some bubblegum?
T: These strong smells are cultivated well in the taste as well. Not at a fruity scale, but very tasty.
M: Very thin. With the higher than average carbonation, it has the consistency of a Sprite or 7Up than a German bier.
D: Very easy and quite pleasant on the palette on a hot summers day

Sampled from the bottle at the brewpub, Sep 2001. Poured a dark golden color. Was not too cloudy, as only a small amount of yeast present in the bottle. A big, rocky head was produced. Typical Bavarian clove and banana notes present in the nose. Fairly smooth down the hatch, but a smidgen thin body-wise. Loads of the banana-clove combo flavors make for a good bier... Prosit!
