Pours a copper/amber color with a thick white head. Slight fruit nose, maybe malts, but it felt very blended. Taste is about the same really, a slight bitterness at the end but little to no hops. Easy drinking to be sure and at 6.25 that’ll catch up to you! It looked and felt like a very nice IPA, but that’s where it stopped as I found it overall a bit lacking, but being a local brew I’m looking forward to trying other offerings from Sonoran.

Dark burnt orange, almost caramel with loads of bubbles rising and a thick eggshell head that lasts, and leaves some nice sticky lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, a sort of musty hay, or sunflower seed, and some generic citrus. Flavor is actually pleasant. It is an English style IPA, so, lots of caramel malt, a bit of citrus, and this has some flavors you'd associate with a regular lager, as well. It's like you poured half a Coors Banquet into an IPA. Very mild bitterness that lingers, but really low on the scale. The feel is average carbonation, a little almost creamy, dry on the finish, and medium body. Might be a good one for someone just getting into IPA's or some one who likes very malty IPA's.

A- dark amber color, thin head, some lacing
S- biscuit malt mostly, maybe some fruit in there
T- fruit and malt mostly, they blend together.
M- medium bodied
D- It's pretty good. Definitely not my favorite but still pretty good, definitely different than most IPA's, could barely taste any hops

22oz bottle poured into a large mug. 09.21.15 is printed on the side, which I'll assume is the "best by" date. Brought home in a suitcase from Phoenix. A fair amount of the sediment got poured in my glass.
Very cloudy, deep amber, with a nice big head that collapses slowly into a velvet pad. Not much lacing yet, but the head is dissipating pretty slowly. Smell is toasty, bready, a little grainy. A little honeysuckle sweetness.
Taste is a little tea (think, Newcastle Brown, but not so blatant), with a mild slightly spicy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is dry and surprisingly resinous. Overall, not bad.

Poured a cloudy amber body with a thin white head. Overall impression of appearance is of a typical IPA, pretty good but not outstanding. Scents of pale caramel malt, bubblegum, moderate hop notes that mix sweet floral aromas especially jasmine, some dirty, herbal, weedy hop notes and light citrus. Overall impression of aroma is of a dirty, muddled IPA that is mediocre. Flavor begins with flavors of weedy herbal hops, with lesser notes of pale malt and citrus. A prominent alcohol begins and stays throughout. Middle continues these flavors. Finish continues this, with bitterness and a medium-high alcohol flavor. Aftertaste is dirty hops. Overall impression of flavor is of a poor IPA that drops the ball on most accounts with a dirty, muddled flavor dominating. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a good IPA, the best aspect of the beer. Overall this is a bad IPA that has a poor overall feel. Not good, not worth trying.

Pours a super foamy head, inches and inches! Too much. The body is a hazy medium straw color.
The aroma has some mango, grapefruit and tangerine. Nice.
The taste has moderate bitterness throughout with a dose of orange sweetness in the middle to end. Nice balance.
The texture is soft and fizzy.
Nice flavor.

Best by 3/15/15.
Pours a murky dark reddish-orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, fruit juice, earth, and slight herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with fruit, earth, and slight herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable, but pretty forgetable all around to me.
Serving type: bottle.

Had a pint at the Phoenix Ale Taproom, following a pint of the Camelback. This was obviously less bitter w/ 48ibu vs Camelback's 60ibu. Both were worth the trip to this out of the way taproom. Same brewmaster for both IPAs. Conflicted as to which is superior. Leaning toward the Camelback.

New kid on the block from Sonoran! 6.2% 42 IBU.
12 oz bottle poured to tulip.
Appearance is a pretty, very lightly hazed gold. 1 finger of pristine white head that lays down to a light but non-sticky lace
Smell is big on tropical fruit and floral notes, maybe a little bubble gum. A bit of biscuit and booze, surprising for this low abv.
Flavor is balanced to slightly sweet, bubble gum, mango and citrus lead the charge on the hop notes, grapefruit and pine hiding in the backend... very nice blend of hop notes.
Mouthfeel has a lightness for the style, very drinkable.
The label claims this beer was designed to be quaffable and not the typical IPA hop monster, and it hits the mark. Tons of hop flavor and aroma, with bitterness held in check. A good starting point for introducing someone to the style, or for more seasoned drinkers a eminently drinkable beer that isn't short on the abv. Wish I brought home more than one, an oversight I am soon to correct.
