A really nice looking beer, really cloudy almost yellow with a good 2-3 inches head that stays for a well. Amazing aromas I smell some bananas and a good dose of hops, some cereals too. Really good taste, starts with a standard witbier taste and quickly the hops hit you with a nice tropical taste. Long and delicious finish. One of my favorite summer beer, was really waiting for it! Grab one while you can.

Nice and dry. Doesn't really read like a Pilsner? More like a wit *but* at the same time not?

In retrospect: best of both worlds re: pilsner and wit.

Bottle like that pictured here poured into a tulip. A burnished gold color (looks clear for a wit) with four fingers of foamy white head that hangs around for a while. Aroma is full of tart tropical fruit and citrus rind with a slight whiff of pine and rose water alcohol. Recalls a so-called white IPA but less brash.
There is a lot going on here taste-wise ... Coriander seed, pears, pineapple, mango, papaya, fresh grass, passion fruit, limes, a vegetal bitterness that recalls squash. Citrus rind flavor builds over time but never becomes harsh or astringent. A rice breakfast cereal sweetness lingers in the background along with a dry peppery spice. This has some unique characteristics that recall a pilsener (and apparently this is brewed with lager yeast, if the name didn't tip you off). Rather crisp and clean, with the hops allowed to shine through. Soft to medium carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel, perhaps deceptively full-bodied. Gets more spicy over the course of a pint.
Interesting hybrid and well worth checking out. The citrus rind and tropical fruit notes tended to carry things early on, with the malts becoming more salient late in the game. This evolution would make for a good session option.
