Pours readily into a mug, with a small head that dissipates rapidly. Mid-range golden amber color. Good taste. Very drinkable. Brewery is in Forchheim an easy train ride south of Bamberg.

A golden look, bordering on copper, and a sticky white head on top.
Typical "Fest"-aroma, defined mostly by some spicy hops and a juicy, caramelesque, somewhat dryish malt-profile. There is a slight boozy quality too, which works well together with the dusty note next to it. The scent of apples freshens it all up.
When tasted, this is moderately sweet upfront with the hops in the background, followed by a bitter moment and a rather grainy malty finish. The aftertaste finds a nice balance between fruitiness and hoppy nuances.
Moutfeel is easy-going, smooth and supported by quite a firm body.
This is a very good lager, which tasted best at fridge temperature.
