Obispado pours a nice clear golden color with a small white head and light lacing; Smell is of malt and hops; Taste is same than smell, malts and sweet; Mouthfeel is dry; Quite refreshing and very easy to drink.

Good brew but not my favorite style.

¡Salud!

of the beers of this micro, the Obispado Kölsch is one of the common ones, and they last in rottating offering; of high fermentation, originally its name was denomination of origin until becoming an accepted style anywhere in the world; yellow color golden due to its clear malts; scent to regaliz; of velveted and sweet flavor. Try with german cuisine and american food, cheese, and mexican; serve in a pint glass; 97% recommended.

Well, if you have tried Sakes, you would know what I mean. At the beginign, when you start drinking this beer it is a little sweet, and it's ok, but after you swallow, it turns into an alcoholic feeling in your mouth, really strong which is ok too, hahaha. The colour was pale and very clear. This is one of the year round beers.

Now this is a beer that doesn't falls in the strict definition of a Kölsch style since it's brewed with bottom fermenting yeast, according to the brewers specs.
Nonetheless, the brewers intention is clear: To offer a Kölsch style beer, so here it goes.

Clear golden yellow in color, has a shy and shortlived head, with a nice lacing, though.

Taste is lightly of malts, somehow sweet, refreshing. Good Summer brew.

Has a medium body, not as crisp as a lager, with a lightly dry aftertaste.

Not my first choice, but I admit it's a good session beer.

¡Salud!
