12 ounce pour - $5.50 at Trappeze Pub in Athens, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up a light gold body, hazed and with a sustained white head.
Smell: Sweet-scented aroma, seemingly dressed up with straight sugar. Pilsner maltiness, flecks of pear and peach as well as 'nana. A little alcohol noted along with scant hints of clove and coriander.
Taste: Sweet, sugary pils, overly so, really. Fruity accents of orchard fruits and banana. Slight spicy accents are shown, though they never really cut through the sugar nature of this brew. Nor does the warming alcohol. Finishes silky, smooth and still sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. It's smooth, but not in a good way, though, more of a product of the overriding sweetness.
Overall: Not a strong performance, frankly. However, someone else remarked it's the best adult cream soda around!
