Came in a goblet a deep dark cola color with a creamy deep beige head atop.Big bitter chocolate and roast in the nose, actually a bit acrid. The flavors are not so sharp but the bitterness is still pretty in your face, some mild caramel gives off just a touch of sweetness but the bitter chocolate and roasted flavors are the component of the beer. For me just to bitter and acrid to really enjoy, was thinking it was gonna be better.

Tastes like chocolate and smooth dark goodness with a hint of chewiness. Looks ok for the style, perhaps marginally above average. Is it maybe a bit thin we than one would expect of something labeled double chocolate stout? Yes. Is it delicious and something i would readily order again? Yes.

Pours a deep dark brown with ruby edges and a finger of head. The nose is nicely roasty but nothing chocolatey. There is some bittersweet chocolate in the flavor profile. This offering is very drinkable but just a touch "small" for a double stout.

From a cask at the 2016 Atlanta Cask Ale Festival.
Dark brown with a bubbly head
Pleasant minty aroma with chocolate and hints of dark bread. The flavor follows. A bit too minty but at least the light to moderate sweetness is not too high. More dark bread and chocolate in the minty aftertaste.
