This is Starr Hill’s own take on the classic ale made famous by the Trappist breweries in Belgium. Fruity flavors complement spicy yeast character, while barrel aging adds notes of oak, vanilla and bourbon, creating a complex beer perfect for sipping.

Came in a goblet a deep rich golden with burnt orange hue,a thinner white head atop.Deeply fruity with mild spiced phenols,a nice bourbon/vanilla tinge rounds out a complex nose.Light yeasty phenols greets up up front on the palate with some fuitiness and sweet alcohol,a light hit of vanilla in the finish.A very nice BBA tripel here, the alcohol hits hard but really good complexity of aromas and flavors.
